July 20th, 2009To get away from the heat, we took a little weekend trip to the Point Reyes National Seashore. The girls had fun and Alex got to see the ocean for the first time. He said “Ooooo”. Enjoy the pics.

We braved the crowds in Old Sacramento this weekend to see Disney’s Chirstmas Carol Train. It was a very nice advertisement for the new movie coming to theaters in Disney 3D and IMAX 3D on November 6, 2009, starring Jim Carey as Scrooge. The whole thing was free an therefore all of Sacrmanto had the same idea. The line was 2 hours long, but Disney is very good at keeping the line moving and entertaining so that 2 hours goes by like 110 minutes. After the train they had an inflatable building that housed a 3D movie theater where the were showing 15 minutes of the movie in 3D. It all made for a fun day for the family. Enjoy the pics.
Also, for your enjoyment, there are some new pictures of the kids.
I thought I would post some new pictures of Alex. He can smile and laugh now. There are also some good pictures of his two big sisters Enjoy.
I decided to put a lot into this post of pictures, well because a lot has happened that last three days. Ashley’s class went on a field trip to Bishop’s Hamburger Farm. It is that same location as Bishop’s Pumpkin Farm, but they make hamburgers in the spring/summer. It was actually really cool. They took the kids out into the gardend and showed them that everything you put on a hamburger is grown on a farm. They even had the cow.
Last night Ashley’s school held a carnival to raise funds. They had bouce houses galore and fun games all around. The DJ spinning the tunes left something to be desired. All in all it was a pretty good time.
Wow, little Alex is changing everyday. Today he is a full month old. He is starting to intereact with people. Cooing and staring at faces. I think I even saw a smile that wasn’t gas. Enjoy the pics.
It does not seem possible that it has already been 3 weeks. I am semi back to work now and life is becoming much more normal. Alex is really changing right before our eyes. Take a look at some of the photos we have captured since the 1 week post. You will see what I mean. Enjoy!

Yesterday, little Alex saw his seventh day. I have some more pictures to share here. Enjoy!
Little Alexander Scott Webb was born yesterday, 4/16/2009 @9:23am. He weighs 8lbs 4oz and measures 20in long. I thought I would post some pictures here of Alex getting to meet his two big sisters. The whole family came down to the hospital for this joyous occaision. Enjoy.
I thought I should post some recent photos of my girls for those of you who check this site regularly for updates. Both of you will be pleasantly surprized. They are both growing up so fast it doesn’t seem possible. The other pictures on this site are a full year old now. Yes, the long trip around the USA ended this week a year ago. Time just flies.
Amber had to go to the doctor a few weeks ago. When I got home from work I asked her if she went to see the doctor. She said yes. Then I asked, “What did the doctor say?” She replied without hesitation, “No more monkeys jumping on the bed!” I laughed so hard. She is just talking up a storm these days. And Ashley has finished preschool and is anxiously waitng for Kindergarten. Well, enjoy the pictures.

Larry the Electrician came by yesterday to install the new 220 line and hook up beautiful new wall oven/microwave. Dad and I lifted the beast into place and installed the oven. We only had to lift the thing in and out twice. The first time I realized my fear that the hole in the cabiniet was just a little too small. After a re-cut, we were able to get the thing in there. I think it looks great and I am very happy with the results. I stop and admire it as I walk by.
Now it is on to phase 2.5 (the hood)
and phase 3 (the island),
so I can get to phase 4.
Oh, P.S. We got a new dishwasher too. There are new pics in the Kitchen Remodel album.

Well we finally received the cabinets for the wall oven and over the fridge. The light switches, phone jack, and GFCI plug had to move to make way for the new wall oven cabinet. I cut some good sized holes in the wall to accomodate fliping them insde the wall. With that done and the holes patched up, we were ready to install the cabinets. Dad came by to help with the heavy lifting. We now have the cabinits installed and it looks pretty good. The next step is to have Larry the Electrician, not the Cable Guy, come by and install the 220 circuit so we can install the oven. Maybe we can get that done next week. Then it is on the island demo session. Fun!
I uploaded some new photos to the Kitchen Remodel 2008 album.
Enjoy
